There is so much diversity in todays world, races, religions, sports, countries, state to state, city to city, mate to mate (excuse the pun). The one that concerns me the most is racial diversity and tension, for god sake does the colour of ones skin define the person they are, or the person they could be? Why should we discriminate against another just because there skin is of a different colour to us, are we that emotionally unstable that we have to nitpick at the most minor differences to make it such a major issue. I was watching a infomercial late the other night, and they classed a woman's hair as being 'African-American' are we that different from each other that we each have a set way to wear or colour our hair. And whats worse is that in America they are making possibly the biggest decision the nation has ever had to face at a time like this (Recession), and Obama being the obvious correct decision is overrun by McCain simply because of the colour of his skin. It depresses me to the absolute maximum.
I got a sports massage this afternoon, my 4th one now. It is the most painstaking thing i have ever sat through, however after 2/3 days it feels like heaven. Hannah, my masseur, we have a love-hate relationship, she loves me, and I hate her for the pain she puts me through, then go back to loving her 1/2 days later :).
I heard one of the most depressing stories from one of my teachers today, it taught me that, never let anyone pull you down or away from your dreams. No matter how bad the situation may be. Stick to your guns and eventually in the end i guarantee you it will pay off.
'Pack up all ya' shit cause were going on a trip for those summer days'.
